Ford Aussie Hoops
Ford Aussie Hoops is Basketball Australia’s official introductory program, providing a fun and inclusive Basketball experience for 5-10-year-olds that serves as an introduction to a lifetime of involvement in the game. In addition to promoting healthy and active lifestyles, the program serves as a platform for social development and inclusion – fostering stronger and more vibrant communities and individuals.
Ford Aussie Hoops has been designed in three staged programs to ensure that for each age group, participants are participating in activities and games that are relevant to their physical and mental capabilities, which will increase in competitiveness until participants are ready to transition into local club competitions.

- New Aussie Hooper – $190 plus $50 pack = $240.

RydeX Sessions
- Saturday Mornings – from 18th October to 13th December.
- RydeX Stadium (28 Eagle Street, Ryde)
- Boys – Ages 5 to 8yrs old – 8am to 9am
- Boys – Ages 9 to 11yrs old – 9am to 10am
- Girls – Ages 5 to 11yrs old – 10am to 11am
Concord Sessions
- Thursday Evenings – from 16th October to 11th December.
- Concord Oval Recreation Centre (8 Gipps Street, Concord)
- Girls & Boys – Ages 5 to 8yrs old – 4pm to 5pm
- Girls & Boys – Ages 9 to 11yrs old – 5pm to 6pm
Five Dock Sessions
- Wednesday Evenings – from 15th October to 10th December.
- Five Dock Leisure Centre (Cnr Queens Road & William Street, Five Dock)
- Girls & Boys – Ages 5 to 8yrs old – 4pm to 5pm
- Girls & Boys – Ages 9 to 11yrs old – 4pm to 5pm
Leichhardt Sessions
- Sunday Mornings – from 19th October to 14th December.
- Sydney Secondary College – Leichhardt Campus (210 Balmain Road, Leichhardt)
- Girls & Boys – Ages 5 to 11yrs old – 10am to 11am
